Wee bit of rather good news: we've attained funding for a boom mike, extension pole and 'dead cat' windshield, which could potentially make a huge difference on the sound front. The feedback from the exam board on the AS coursework last was effusive in its praise, flagging up sound as the only real area of some weakness, an aspect which in many ways was beyond control using the camcorders mics (though recording sound/dialogue separately and over-dubbing is always an option).
This equipment will be reserved specifically for coursework shoots only, which means A2 only until after the January exam, when we start into the AS coursework.You can see the 3 items ('frequently bought together') here.
